AssessmentsThis class is structured to foster and to cultivate both individual and collaborative group achievement. We will be going beyond simple memorization and recall of historical facts, as we interpret, analyze, and explain our world.
To reach these goals, we'll use various methods: (1) group projects, (2) interactive simulations, (3) guided reading notes, (4) short essays, (5) oral and visual technology-based presentations, (6) interactive notebooks, and (7) debates. Through this, we will build on your academic strengths and eliminate weaknesses while fostering a global view of your unique place in the human story. Meet our virtual class pets: Sam 'N Ella.
